Health Requirements
Participation requirements for the Mindance programme
Mindance is intended to provide general information and promote mindfulness, resilience, relaxation and well-being. The service is not a substitute for medical, psychotherapeutic or psychiatric diagnosis, advice or treatment.
If you have a pre-existing mental or physical health condition, are experiencing an acute personal crisis, or are at risk of alcohol or drug abuse, please use Mindance only after consulting a doctor, therapist or other qualified healthcare professional.
Participation in Mindance courses is not suitable for people with severe mental health conditions requiring treatment, acute suicidal thoughts or intentions, psychotic symptoms or comparable acute crises, and should be avoided unless there is an explicit recommendation from a qualified healthcare professional.
If you experience severe discomfort or feel overwhelmed while using Mindance, or if you have doubts about whether it is suitable for your health situation, stop using the service and seek professional advice before continuing.
If you have health concerns, are experiencing a mental health crisis or suspect that you may have a health condition, please seek qualified medical or therapeutic advice. In an emergency, contact the emergency services immediately by calling 112, go to a psychiatric emergency department or contact an appropriate crisis support service.
